Coraline book review
Coraline is one of my favorite books. It is about a girl who finds a secret door to a better world but the worlds a trap. I would recommend this book to people 5 + adult.
Great job Ellie! As a teacher, I am so impressed with the books that you've read. Keep reading and reviewing. I look forward to watching you grow as a reader.
Thanks Ellie - I was thinking about reading it to my niece who is now 6 and wondered if she was old enough. I guess she is..It's good to have the opinion of someone closer to her age as a guide.
As a bookseller it's good to know you enjoyed reading it, now I can recommend it to other kids. Happy Blogging and Happy Birthday! Read on! Dottie Borders Express Bookseller
We just had this as our book club choice for our young adult book club at Chapters in Pittsfield. It went over well! What are you reading next? -Aimee P.S. Happy Birthday
Keep on blogging. I love to give books as presents, and you can help me choose them for the kids in my life just like your mom helps with the grown-ups. I have The Graveyard Book, but not Coraline. I think I'll go buy this one now.
Nice review, Ellie. One of these days I will have to finish Coraline. I have enjoyed what I've read so far.
ReplyDeleteExcellent review. I am going to have my daughter (9) and son (just turned 7) come here often to get book ideas.

Nice review. I read this last year & liked it. Delightfully creepy.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE Coraline. But I find it soooo creepy! Buttons for eyes? Creeps me out! I definitely could not have handled it at your age.

ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you liked it! And happy birthday.
ReplyDeleteBravo, Ellie! You should come to my writing class at a Boston-area college and convince my students to blog!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the new blog, Ellie! As a teacher and a writer, I can tell you that I'm impressed on all accounts. Bravo!
