For Expert Readers in 4th Grade..

Wow. I am really bad at keeping up my blog. This post is not actually about one certain book, but some recommended books for kids my age who might have trouble finding books on their level. My mom told me about a friend of hers who wants to buy a book for her niece, but doesn't know what to bu her, because she is an extremely good reader.
If you're in this position I recommend:
Percy Jackson series, by Rick Riordan
Eragon,by Christopher Paolini
Artemis Fowl, by Eoin Colfer
Mirrorscape, by Mike Wilks
the Warrior Heir, by Cinda Williams Chima
the Squires Tales, by Gerald Morris.
Some of these books might be easier than others, but these are most of my favorites.I'll try to do blog posts about some of them, and some of them are the beginning of series. If you try these books, and like them please leave a comment to let me know. thanks!

The Tapestry

The Tapestry Trilogy is about a boy named Max Mcdaniels who finds a tapestry in an art museum and can't find it again. Later, he is tested and accepted into a school called Rowan academy where he meets David Menlo, a young sorcerer. To save the world from the demon Astoroth, they must travel the world. I would recommend this book to people ages 6 to 16. I like this book because it has twists at every corner and I don't know what to expect next. I also like this book because the bad guy is really just fighting for good in a bad way.It is written by Henry H. Neff. The book shown here is book #1 but there are two other books and one coming out soon.

Artemis Fowl

Sorry for not posting. This post is about the Artemis Fowl series.
I love it and it is in my top ten favorite books. I love it because it is surprising me every time I turn the page. I can relate in a way to a lot of the characters, for example I can relate to Holly because I am always getting in the middle of other people's fights. I am like Artemis because my friends always turn to me for help.

Artemis Fowl is written by Eoin Colfer, and it is about a criminal mastermind who is 14 years old. His father disappeared a few years ago and with him went the family fortune. Artemis tries to get it back and takes a big risk. With the help of his bodyguard, Butler he fights captain Holly short of LEPrecon. Will he get the gold?I would recommend it to people 10 and up.There are 7 books in the series.

The Warrior Heir

Hello! I am in the middle of of a book called The Warrior Heir. It is about a boy named jack who is not normal. He is born a wizard. Then he comes close to dying when his doctor Jessamine Longbranch decides to do an experiment on him.She turns him into a warrior. then his aunt Linda-an enchanter hires a bunch of people to watch over him. She gathers enough people that his whole street was filled with them! I would recommend this book to people 6 and over.I would do that because there are a few scary parts.Well hope to see you soon!

The Lightning Thief

The Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan was very interesting . it was about a boy who finds out he is part god. later he finds out he illegal and goes to the underworld to help Zeus retrieve his master lightning bolt.
It has big words but its easy to understand.
